The Republic of Pskov is totally a republic guys, you can trust them, they have a prince and everything. Or is that not how republics work? Anyway, they're really scared of Finland since they're surrounded on three of four sides by them and kinda really like all those Russian guys nearby a lot...

The Serbian Empire is an interesting force of power within the Illyrian region. Often an actor of force, it's managed to protect itself (and Bosnia) to the point that the Hungarians have yet dared to invade, despite the obvious capacity their northern enemies have. While they have no direct sea access whatsoever, they still manage to trade significantly with its neighbors.

The Republic of Prussia Prussia is a split republic divided into two bodies - Prussia, and Brandenburg. The main body is supposed to be Prussia, but lately Brandenburg has been dictating what the entire nation should do, which isn't very nice of them. They are friends with Silesia and Poland and are rather suspicious of the growing Austria-Germany, as they feel like they would be great next targets.

The Kingdom of Zeta is small, kingdom situated by its neighbors, Bosnia and Svrbia. While acting as an independent polity, it's nominally dependent on the Serbian Empire and handles maritime trade between the Adriatic and the Empire. Together, including Bosnia, forms part of the Illyrian Pact, a tight organization of states that conduct immense trade and commerce with each other. It's similar to the concept of a confederation, although obviously the countries still maintain a high degree of control over their governments and policies.

* other countries can be added in the illyrian pact in the balkans.

The Kingdom of Muscovy is kind of like a stunted Russia. It has thus far failed to unify the Russian culture and as time passes, it seems more and more like a far-fetched dream as the other Russian states adopt their own traditions, customs, and distinct dialects. Although, it did manage to expand southward and make some headway in the the nomadic regions.

The Anglish Kingdom is similar to our England, but they didn't care about oppressing the Scots so much as taking colonies throughout the world. They are still quite monarchic, with a weak parliament and a strong king who still can dissolve the parliament if he so wishes. However, lately parliament has been tired of being pushed around by sir king and wants some reforms. They hate Burgundy and Sardinia, fiercely competing with them for colonies.

The Hellenic Kingdom (otherwise known as Graecia) arose from the ashes of the weakened Roman Empire after centuries of onslaught and disasters during 15th and 16th centuries. Weakened by constant Islamic Mongol attacks from the Levant and Egypt, those most loyal to the Empire fled to the ancient lands of Graecia where they remained somewhat powerful. Supported by their Orthodox Christian brothers in the Balkans, as well as the Catholics in Italy, they slowly managed to recover land throughout the 17th and 18th centuries. It's doubtful they will gain former glory of the Eastern Mediterranean, but it's mostly settled down now as a powerful nation, straddling Europe and Asia.

The Principality of Albonai is a state heavily controlled by Graecian politics. Although de jure independent, in reality, it acts as a sort of puppet state for Constantinople. No one really knows why they've been an actual state for centuries, and the Graecians are debating to let them go, or annex them outright, depending on the populace's votes.

The Suzerainty of Kraków is the pretender state of the real Kraków, with highly socialist tendencies. They are a recent breakaway state and have caused civil war in the nearby free city, making it quite a miserable place to be.

The Kingdom of Norway has had a relatively turbulent and interesting history over the past few centuries. Forced against its neighbors after the collapse of the Kalmar Union and the Scandinavian Revolts, it fought to defend itself from both the growing Finnish and Swedish threats. Okay, maybe it was a little aggressive against Sweden.

The Kingdom of the Macedons managed to come into existence once more during the disintegration of the Eastern Roman Empire, but soon fell into economic depression after it was cut off trade towards the south by the surviving Graecians. It managed to stand up and recover itself, though, after time; to this day the Graecians still claim them as a part of their land, while the Macedons continue to claim their historical coastline. Time heals, however, and recent diplomatic negotiations have suggested both sides to drop these claims for mutual benefits - if they'll ever come to a compromise, that is.
