Author Topic: Incredibly annoying pc problem (Read 5378 times)

Hi, i have recently been very pissed off. Every single game i play minimizes after just a few minutes, and i searched the web for the answer, i found one, but it was about Skype, i dont know what skype is, neither do i have it so that cant be my problem, i continued my search and found nothing but "skype this, and skype that". so im asking for help on here. thanks in advance. oh and you dont need my specs, trust me, this has been happening to people with wide ranges of differnt specs, from 32 bit, to 84 bit, from 1 GB ram, to 5 GB ram! but, only on vista!

Which is why Vista sucks. Get an XP.

It sounds like program you're running in the background is taking command of the foreground causing your game to minimize.

Try closing some of the programs you run in the background and see if that solves the problem.

Hehe. No, never downgrade. That fails. My Vista had one problem in the 3 years I had it. I jus thad to clean the dust out.

XP isnt as fast for my computer anyway, thats why VISTA is best

anyway, i set up my firewall to "high" protection, apperently a program was trying to gain internet access so i blocked it and the minimizing stopped, thanks anyway!

I love XP, it's still the same as Vista, just less features, and older look.

tryed my computer with xp... snail, vista, slightly faster snail

I have XP and it's very fast!
Like I said:
XP - Fast, and has none of those problems that Vista has.
7 - Has a good Paint program, but it's like Vista.
Vista - Problematic

I'd think XP was faster than Vista, if you compare two computers with the same specs.
XP has much more simple graphics and it generally more simple, so it should be faster.

But I like Windows 7 most, it's great for my supercomputer.

I guess it would be illegal, since it was made for Windows 7, and they won't make money on me copying parts of their sold program to other people.

I would try to find it anyways. I am still looking for the Windows 7 Paint. They still have enough customers to give them the money they need.

I don't think that Windows 7 Paint will work in XP, only because it check to see if it's running Windows 7 and simply quits if it's anything else. (Although I'm not 100% positive of this).
