For me:
- Habanero-spiced pickles
Delicious, although my mouth is slowly vaporizing.
- Cheddar bratwurst
Great for German-style hotdogs and very good with bread-and-butter pickles.
- Parsnip chips
Decent flavor with a grapefruit-like aftertaste. Weird.
- Kale chips
Spinach-like flavor with a sharp aftertaste similar to parsnip chips.
- Deep-fried Snickers
Extremely sweet; almost too sweet. Good though.
- Deep-fried bacon
My arteries are tellin' me no, but my mouth is tellin' me yes.
- Fried alligator
Tastes like chicken. Literally. Spicy chicken.
- Fried chicken liver
Didn't like it at first, but I suddenly started craving it later and it grew on me. Practically disintegrates in your mouth and almost tastes like beef.
- Avocado key lime pie
A vegan date-sugar recipe that I thought looked interesting. Very tart and tasty.
- Bacon-and-ice-cream sandwich
Something I picked up off of Good Mythical Morning. So much yes.
- Cheese-and-ice-cream sandwich
Another GMM nugget. The ice cream tends to overpower the cheese, but if you get the amount right, there's something nice about that mix of dairy flavors.
- Mango-onion-tangerine-avocado fruit salad
Waves of mixing flavors. Unfathomably delicious.
- Toothy fish thingy
Honestly, I don't know what kind of fish it was. Barracuda, maybe? I visited Greece a while back and ordered what they claimed to be "fish tacos" at a restaurant. Well, they weren't tacos, but they were fish. Toothy fish. I was a bit skeptical until I tasted it and was pleasantly surprised. Almost tasted like crab or lobster.
- Thai ice cream rolls
One of my dad's coworkers started his own little chain of Thai-inspired ice cream. Completely unique texture and a very good flavor.
