[FIXED] Getting message saying Steam Required, but I have steam opened

So I just got on US2 and now it keeps telling me that I now need steam, I don't why its telling me that because I've had US2 since Alpha 8 and I have Steam running and this is what its telling me.
"Steam Required
You need Steam to play this game, open up Steam and run Universe Sandbox²"
I have steam opened and I'm logged in, any help?

Try restarting Steam and/or restarting your computer. Often this will fix this kind of issue.
