Gliese 581g
« on: July 14, 2014, 09:00:49 AM »
Gliese 581g is a (Very possible) superearth located in the Gliese 581 solar system. (A red dwarf)
It's one of the most likely habitable planets out there. And possible capable of life (And may already have life)

I'm really interested in this planet because it isn't that far away, 22 LY. (In astronomical terms).
And it might be one of the next homes to the human species.

A study in 2014 concluded that Gliese 581 d is "an artifact of stellar activity which, when incompletely corrected, causes the false detection of planet g."

Also, was discovered in 2010, old news.
