Getting new laptop, need some help in choosing one
« on: December 18, 2013, 02:22:23 PM »
Well, okay, I actually do have a few ideas on ones to choose from, but theres so many choices and variants in pricing that I can't make up my mind here, so I'm asking you guys what might be good. I'm looking at either ASUS or Dell with 17 inch and intel i7 4th gen proccessor and the max price I'd like to pay for one is 2,000.

Basically I'm trying to ask what sort of Dell or ASUS laptop do you think would be recommended with those specs?

A few ideas are something like either:

Edit: You'll have to copy and paste the first two since the url broke.

You can adapt to a layout, but the internal specs are mostly unchangable.

What do you mean REALLY funky? The keyboard does look a bit small (or maybe thats just perspective) but if you mean funky by the keypad, I have that on mine.

That last one is horribly overpriced, alienware as a brand isn't all that good either. Otherwise, the others look pretty similar.
