You need to add a grid of dust (massless particles), unfortunately the interface necessary to create this grid hasn't been added back into Universe Sandbox 2.

I'll plan to re-include this feature in one of the next few updates.

I've added the grid particle feature into the Ring creation panel until I have the time to implement it correctly.

This 'hack' works in 2.0.8 and will be removed one the feature is properly implemented.

- Select a body.
- Click on the Add body tool (the planet with the +)
- Click on the ring tab.
- Click on one of the ring options like "Saturn" (doesn't matter which one)
- Press and hold the Ctrl button (for 3D) or Shift (for 2D) and notice how the buttons change.
- Click on one of the buttons to create a grid.

Count effects the grid density, none of the other options have any effect at this time.
