i'm stuck in a nasty spot right now. war against crimea and ottomans and hansa, though hansa isn't doing anything. i've got france, papal state, and genoa on my side, but only genoa is doing anything, and that is blockading crimea.
i have about 50000 troops versus their 30000, so i can hold them back ok.
in the ottoman area, i have enough troops to seige one or two provinces while defeating their stacks. they problem is, they just retreat back over to the east and i can't follow (ships), where they recover and come back a few months later. so i'm not getting anything done there.
to the east, in crimea, i have a few provinces occupied, but it's going fairly slowly. rebels are larger problem than crimean army. when i follow retreating army, they move into other countries.
i have a few rebels, but i'm taking care of them with mercenaries.
anyways the problem is that my manpower is slowly depleting -- i started with 60k and i'm less than 3 years into the war. i doubt i'll have the rest of crimea taken by the time i'm empty, and there won't be any good results in the ottoman empire, even if i manage to get across the strait.
i could hire mercs, but 40 regiments for 40 months costs over 1000 ducats, (i guess i could take out a lot of loans). my budget is about +17 per month rn, so i could support about 20 regiments without a deficit. it doesn't matter anyways because i can't get across that strait
i've also stopped building completely in order to recruit more troops and shit. my budget started out as -40 at the start because i had so many troops but they're all dead now and it's back to +17
oh and france won't help.
so what do i do.
