As a cost cutting measure the Ethanthovan Defense Office and national defense research and production firm MASON pushed a variety of contracts and proposals towards Aeridanish defense corporations to develop an affordable and reliable set of light weapons systems for Ethanthova's military, a force built mainly of reservists but a force increasing in experience and size.
The contracts bolster the currently unpredictable economy of Aeridani while Ethanthova is able to make up for it's payments by passing on most of it's current home-made weapon systems to neighboring allied states that couldn't possibly become a problem later in the decade.

Bielosia to split into multiple regions?

Speculations of plans to split the Bielosian nation into a federation of regions has been reported ever since the start of the year. The division of the nation, nearly a North-South divide, has caused some outcry in few cities across the nation as they are to deal with decisions from their respective capitals that could be hundreds - or even thousands - of kilometers away. This could be the end of the existence of Alieosia and Byisotia as federal, functioning states, some could say.
However, the opposition side states that such divisions could lead to disagreements over boundaries, transportation, water, and such. With the Upper Valley in need of water after the drought of 614, this could lead to further problems of how the water should be distributed. And as the Byisotia lingers in commercial success, especially in port cities and agricultural success, its neighbor, Alieosia, only manages to find industrial and some agricultural success; the mountains provide ore and helps transport it down into the Bielosian capital city. If this system is ever to break by such divisions, it could cause some rockiness within the Bielosian government.
One likely agreement over the issue could be simply dissolving the two states altogether and allow its sub-subnational divisions to operate as independent regions themselves under the Bielosian government. This could allow some interests and cooperation coexist, but it is not definite that such continuing means could last forever.

DOTRUGAN REBELS THREATEN TO SECEDE, CHANCES ARE UNCLEAR
Yesterday, on the 2nd of November, 2015, a large group of Dotrugan citizens rallied in front of the capital building of Lago, a large city in Northern Dotruga. The group seemed to have formed from nowhere, but it is suggested that it was possibly planned beforehand. The protesters demanded a petition from the government to cede a portion of Northern Dotruga to local residents, a hot topic that has been circulating for a few months.
After an hour, the situation grew slightly more violent as the protesters starting showing aggression towards government officials going to and fro. Authorities soon arrived, and the protest imminently became an uproar of violence as the rioters refused to succumb to the police. Bystanders were evacuated from the area, and the situation became a bitter duel between rebels and authorities "A day to remember." states a government official that saw the battle ensue before his eyes. Surely, this marks an important period of re-evaluation of the Dotrugan government, but some claim that this was just a protest that was left unsupervised for too long, and therefore only a minor event.
We shall see in the weeks to come.

The Omniscient's refitting has been completed, boasting 50 times better armor and a white-blood-cell like anti intruder system.
It also has been upgraded with a triple tail engine configuration, and is blasting away with the ERADICATOR-II Cannon.
It is expected to leave the Omniscient Repairs and Upgrades yard (yes, an entire solar system sized shipyard meant to house ONE ship, that's how big the damn thing is) today.
