Check it out and let me know if there's any other notable apps worth adding:

Hi, i've been using this program to simulate galaxy collisions :)

http://www.colliding-galaxies.com/Site/menu_e.html

There's a custom galaxy shape changer, redshift color mode, 3d, and it's pretty nice. You can change the render settings to make it run faster or slower.

I'm not sure if it simulates each star as an individual gravity point; just sent them an email about it and awaiting a reply. If it does, it might be worth the $25 for the full verson. The free version doesn't allow you to save or use the shape changer, but other than that, it has no limitations.

A free app that you may have missed is Google Sky.  It can come in quite handy when casually looking for tonight's bodies.  http://www.google.com/sky/  There is also an actual app available if you'd like to zoom around Google Earth style. :D

Atomsmith might be a good one to go under the atom ones... but it's quite expensive (when I bought it it was like $100)

Edit: And WOW the price went down... Although now it's in parts.  :-\ Glad to see it's still being developed.

And I use SkySafari 3 as a "non-gravitational" simulation thing. It's like Stellarium but for iPod, iPhone, and iPad.

Another edit: I notice the Atomic Dashboard is from Bitwixt as well...

Theres the Kepler and Exoplanet apps, available both for iPhone and iPad. The same author also has an app called Gravity Tree, which is more of a particle physics simulator.
