Dungeon XP Farm Tutorial

This'll be my new design for the EXP farms once I come back to Chazabethia/Yukiland to change it. I might as well do the same with the zombie dungeon between Yukitown and Spawntown.

Can't you try and re-upload the isometric map?

Bla could, but it takes much time and effort to download the map, make an isometric rendering, and then upload the huge file. It's best to do it just once a month or so

I mean the file that he had tried to upload but it didn't take somehow.

I found out that I uploaded the wrong map, because I had misspelled the date in the file name which confused me about which one was the newest version.

Here's the real one.

Looks kool.

However the mob farm between Spawntown and Yukitown is meant for fighting mobs, as it is a part of the Stronghold. So it will stay as it is.
And please don't grow trees in the mob spawning room. :P

Maybe we can expand the spawntown rail line eventually?

Through the ocean? We'd have to dig deeper for that route or go with a bridge over the surface of the ocean.

I had also thought of a loop going from Revoluta, west to whatever I name my lands, and then north, although a line going south, then west to the desert island, another stop in Kaeshar (Which I might call it if I don't just call it Smjjamesia or something). So, it would be a Revoluta-Kaeshar-Auspikstan loop.

If you want to connect all of your territory, it'll have to be your own local route.

Yes, we can dig through the ocean. Just look at the underwater tunnel through Revolt City.

I know, but out of glass? I read previously in the thread that it would take a desert to make that one. We'd have to mine the ocean floor for the sand (we'd need dive lights though) for something that extensive.

I'm curious how you accomplished that glass tunnel though.

The bridge over the water is just an option.

Not the mob farm, the zombie dungeon. You should find it near the path between Yukitown and Spawntown, it has a cobble pillar near the entrance to the dungeon.

Hey Mudkipz, you need a sign showing the direction to the railway in desertopia, I couldn't even find it.

Edit: Nm, found it by accidentially falling into the cactus farm chute, lol. Also, you've got a zombie somewhere near the station....

smjjames, from where? There is a sign pointing to my station from spawntown.

anyway i do have a wall of fire around my place and it's all lit up, but i can't completely prevent mob spawns. It should be a lot safer than most other areas at night though :)

I'm talking about in deserttopia, and the zombie groan I heard was in the passageway between the end of the cactus chute and the deserttopia railway station trackpoint itself.

I just mean that the deserttopia end station needs to be easier to find, although the cactus chute is a legit route, even if unorthodox....

Ah, the cactus chute leads to the cargo rail :D
the main rail is up the left corridor from the cargo rails.

The station is covered by a cactus farm, but i'll build a pillar or something to make it easier to find.
Strange with the zombie spawning. If you see any dark places (that aren't intentionally dark), feel free to light them up.

Well not covered, but pretty much behind it so it's kind of out of sight. I probably will rework the station to conform with regulations when i get back from the epicravine

Speaking of ravives, I think I found the smallest possible ravine. You know that island just west of the desert island? Well, it has a hole in it that was visible in the isometric map, so I took a look at it. Its basically a hole in the ground, but its structured like a ravine. Theres nothing special about it though, some coal deposits and a water spring.

The rail plans up there look... Well, the glass is no problem, underwater rail tunnels are cute. Getting sand for it is very easy if you just have the correct method for mining sand without ruining the landscape - place a cobblestone or dirt block below the top sand block and mine everything below it.

But the route would take a lot of iron and gold to make, and there aren't that big settlements or things which are worth connecting there imo atm.

Hey guys, I'm just letting you know that as I was digging out that pit, I accidentially destroyed one of the glowstone blocks that I had put in earlier, I'll put the glowstone dust in the same chest as the rest of the glowstone back in Spawntown.

Who owns Solea and Rift Auspikstan? I'm just asking for permission to build a road from there down to my territory.

My other option is to make one westward from Revoluta, but thats a longer route (I do want to establish a bridge from my territory to Revoluta eventually).
