Mudkipz, I think The Pokey Cactus got deleted somehow, or some ID bug so that it appeared empty. I can still find the text file through FTP.

Safe creeper: Creepers only damage players, not blocks, when exploding.
Heroic Death: Writes funny messages about how players die when they do.

Cool, I was worried about creepers destroying my work when they exploded, which is what I disliked about them (although I haven't actually ran into one).

No, the developed part of the world is pesistent, but I crop the areas we haven't used sometimes after updates to get new features and terrain in the map.

*Throttles images slow to load on iPhone* Sucky reception doesn't help and the pictures are t loading fully. It's an issue on my side, not the forum. Also the last two images failed to even begin to load, and showing them in a new window doesn't help much.

So could you explain what you mean by eew? I'll keep trying to view the images though.

Edit: yes the skeletal skyscraper is kind of ugly, that's for sure.

I like the framework, but i generally try to do more than huge gray boxes, they don't look so good. Maybe butresses and some variation would be nice

I think it looks ok, I just think stone is a depressing material.

I'm a sandstonist and brickist, maybe I should even regret making the hospital out of stone... Hm.

But I think stone is realistic, looking at many concrete skyscrapers (or at least concrete covering the steel frame).
A skyscraper of sandstone doesn't make a lot of sense, a skyscraper of iron would be ridiculously "expensive", and a skyscraper of bricks... Well there are some tall brick buildings...

Stone slabs? Idk. I think it could look okay if you make the walls stone and put some windows. It would probably look weird if one line was stone between each floor, and then some other material. Or the sides could be some different material, with just stone corners.

Sandstone? Is that a new material or are you just talking about sand? Anyways, is there a large area of sand that I can carve a flat area out of?i want to make that Spanish Villa that I was making before I left (which got erased when the server I was on moved to a new world).

It's been some time since i played, so maybe there's some new materials I can work with.

Also, is that bug where if you drop a damaged tool, it instantly gets repaired fully, still around? And are diamond picks still the fastest for digging blocks? I think I've heard that got changed.
