The time of New Year technically needs to be changed by a poll, the host has no authority over this. It would be best at the very least if people can tell if the new time works. It works for me.

the point was to allow more people to come and also for all the random errors to be fixed b/c they are hindering me but i can make a poll if you want

Nice smiley there, but how do you know the 30th is so terrible compared to the 6th without a poll. We've always done it the 30th and it's been more active than 5. The exact reason we need this poll is to make sure the event is actually moved in the interest of the community and not one person.

The reason I want it moved it is because Yqt is going back to Thunder Bay on the 31st of Dec., and presumably you are returning to Denmark around that date, and Skirt is unable to play Minecraft on the computer he has at his home so there are no admins available to do things that I needed to be able to do to host new years

I suggest we move the event and just have some fireworks (not all) on the 30th. So unless people complain it'll be on Jan 6.
