Possible to Re-Texture a Sun / Planet ?

Is it possible to re-texture the sun or any planets.
I have custom sun textures and would like to use different planet maps if there is a method can someone explain

You can't re-texture a star (yet, I think)

You can re-texture planets, however. For this reason the system must be in .xml file.
Put the texture in the Media folder in the Universe Sandbox folders in Documents.

Then, open the .xml from the Systems file from the Universe Sandbox folder with Notepad (i.e. click on it and place it on the blank Notepad).
Change the two Appearances into Texture, then put the texture name (i.e. earth-like planet.png, gas giant.jpg) in between.
Finally, check it in either US1 or 2 and see the system.

Can't figure out how to save as xml file.  All my systems save as .ubox and renaming to .xml does not seem to work.  Is there a way to convert to xml?

Download 7-zip. Then go on 7-Zip and go to your systems (i.e. Username\Documents\Universe Sandbox\Systems\). Click on the .ubox file you want to be .xml. Right click on the system.xml file, then click extract. It should go in the Systems file. Change the name file what you want to be. Done .

I haven't extract .xml files from .ubox files for a while so I'm using my memory.
