Universe Sandbox 2.0.13 Release Candidate Now Available
« on: October 27, 2010, 05:23:21 PM »
2.0.13 has been released.

For those that already have a copy of version 2 installed (Free or Premium) and want to try out the Release Candidate of 2.0.13:

1 - Run your installed copy.
2 - Click on Options
3 - Click the "Check for Release Candidate" button.

Please let me know either way if if everything is working or if you run into a problem.

As soon as I hear from a few of you and everything looks good, I'll flip the switch and release it to everyone.

Full list of improvements and fixes:

Thanks!

This isn't a very exciting update admittedly.

It's mainly bug and crash fixes.

You shouldn't have any problems updating like we did with the last release. And there's code in this new version to better message and handle update issues in the future.

Let me know once you update whether it works or not. Thanks!

Yeah, I read the "what's new"... Works fine though.

I like the new way to add the objects!

You should bring back "Auto Orbit" for all teh objects in a system.

Edit: I just oticed something! The random button on chart mode does a good job at creating systems... Problem is, it has limits. It only makes close systems (for planets and moon systems). Solar systems look odd. If you could set
"furthest object" parameters, and "inclination range"... it would be perfect.
