No Surface Deformation? [KNOWN]
« on: December 05, 2016, 04:01:19 PM »
After the update collisions between objects no longer deformed the surface e.g. cause impact craters. I was just wondering if that feature was removed or if there is a setting I need to activate which I can't seem to find.
Thanks for any and all help.

Cheers,
ShepherdLR

I don't really have any helpful advice, but I've noticed this too. Maybe it just put unnecessary strain on the system.

That's possible, though if there is no longer surface deformation they should probably remove it as a feature on the Steam store page.

ShepherdLR, 3D craters are currently broken and are now disabled in Alpha 19, but we hope to get them fixed again soon for an upcoming update! Sorry for the issue, this is not a permanently removed feature.

You should still be able to see 2D impact marks, though, please let us know if that's not the case.

Thanks for responding Jar, it's much appreciated. Good to know the feature is not permanently removed and I am still able to see 2D impact marks. I really love your game and the new update is fantastic, keep up the good work! Thanks again.
