While a time machine doesn't sound like such a bad idea, it may be easier to just wait a bit.

There are also instructions there for trying out a preview version of Alpha 19. We released a new preview version a couple nights ago.

We still can't give a release date, as it's unclear, but it should be soon!

I really appreciate you getting us previews of the releases.
It really helps to bridge the time between them. 
And on top of that we can contribute more by already giving feedback before the release
of a new version.
Also have to say, that the new fragmentation already looks pretty gorgeous

Anyways, take as long as you need. There's already so much you can do ingame,
I think we'll survive a little more waiting
