Can't Type Names/Values in OSX/Alpha 14.1

When running Alpha 14.1 ( Macbook Pro/OS 10.6.8 ) I find that more often than not, the interface won't recognize input from the keyboard (when trying to manually enter names, values, or report this as a bug via the built-in Feedback module.) Sometimes it will work the first time, but not after restarting a simulation or creating a new one. Is this a known issue? Can I expect it to be resolved in Alpha 15?

It is a known issue that text input stops working on Macs after using Control key shortcuts (like Control+R to reload sim). We have this on our to-do list.

Are there other cases in which it's happening for you?
