Is the Universe Sandbox code base backed up?

just wondering Dan, do you keep back-up files for files you are already finished with? because i was dreaming and ubox 3 was delayed another year because the files were somehow corrupted and you had to start all over

Good question.

All of the developers (there are 6 of us) have local copies of the latest build on each of our computers... And 3 of the  6 have copies on 2 of our computers... plus there's the copy that exist on the shared server (which is backed up by the hosting provider).

So there are at least 10 copies of the source code spread across 3 countries. It would be pretty hard to lose it at this point.
