If some sites are malware. what happens.

You will become infected if you visit a malicious site. These sites contain malware programs, rogue software. and some malware objects.

In contrast to many other of these posts, I think this one is important. Perhaps we should make a list of sites we know contain virusses.
Hmm... I can't think of any.

But we could make another similar list of places that might contain virusses. For example the sites that advertise with "you are our 1.000.000th visitor, congratulations" or "you got a new message" or similar things.

Also, ImageShack has been hacked not so long time ago, so it could contain virusses perhaps.

I guess, but I never heard of any of these sites before, and so nor would I think I would search anything that would give me those sites, and I have AntiVirus and SpySweeper. I don't completely let my guard down 'cause of that. I know I can still get viruses (i think?)

If you go over these ads with your mouse you can see the whole thing is linked, like when they want you to type in your state or shoot a duck for example. So never click the ad. :-\
