After 3 years of work... we're finally ready to make the alpha version available for purchase. But we're not done yet... we've got lots of updates and improvements planned. I welcome you to join us on that journey...

Universe Sandbox Â² is still alpha software. We're not done adding new features and fixing existing issues. There remain many bugs, and you, the early access user, will help us uncover even more. Buying-in early means you wonâ€™t have to wait to explore the many new and exciting features that are already in place, but know that all of the final polish wonâ€™t be there yet.

A more complete redesign of the website will happen eventually... if you don't see any changes though, be sure and refresh the page.

The next major milestone will be the public release on Steam as early access... which probably won't happen until 2015. (although note that when you buy the alpha, you get access to it via Steam)

As far as I can tell it is on Steam and on Steam only. I would prefer to have a DRM free version like the first one, but maybe that is for a later time.

When you purchase Universe Sandbox Â² through our website, you'll be given a code that you redeem through Steam.

This means it will be in your Steam library and will automatically update, etc like other Steam games.

Hey. Love the Game

. I just have a couple complaints about glitches and missing things. The first thing is a glitch. Whenever I try "spawning" a galaxy, all but the M 32 galaxy look the same, other than that, they are all named "not named". Please fix this. The next thing is that I do not know where or how to add water, hydrogen, and other materials. Please add these things if you haven't already. Thanks so much for the game. -Nick
