Religion: Deity creates universe and existence.Problem:Deity can't have created itself
Atheist: Universe creates itself.Problem:Universe can't have created itself
Is there really any right answer? $:-\$

Well, it's debatable that the Universe couldn't have created itself. Maybe it spontaneously appeared out of nowhere. Or maybe, the universe is just a part of a larger multiverse.

But then where does that come from?Every thing came from nothing.There is no true way to explain it?Gods couldn't have came from nothing either.The only real question is how it could happen how could nothing produce everything?It can't it defies logic but so is the way of logic answers only lead to more questions.

It happens all the time, actually, in our universe. Out in space, particles appear spontaneously. They always appear in pairs, which, most of the time, immediately annihilate with each other and leave no trace. Near black holes, however, a particle might be pulled into a black hole and the matching one might fly out, which is known as 'Hawkings Radiation'. This is also the reason why quantum mechanics can't be practically observed in the macroscopic scale. The random particles generated by the universe cause the superposition states to collapse almost instantly.

There is many stories which the universe was born.
One is my story. That the the whole existence of space was so lacking in awesome that God/Bla/Dan/I put the need and created the awesomeness that is the universe into this cruel, bitter wide space.

This is possible because although they weren't around before the big bang they had the ability to be

But then the cause requires its own effect to exist.

It doesn't explain where those species came from or the universe which allowed them to evolve for the first time. Assuming they could cause a Big Bang, they would still need to be able to evolve independently from their abilities once, otherwise they would never exist to cause the Big Bang for the first time.

Even a very powerful species in this universe or anything at all wouldn't be able to create the universe it formed out of because it violates casuality, which holds up in almost all cases. (breaks down in small scale because of uncertainty principle.)

Well some of the current theories on the formation of the universe are

Hartle-Hawking State

Which basically says that time as a dimension did not exist before the universe. Just as we cannot leave this universe in the space dimension, if we had a time machine, we could not leave this universe in a time dimension either.

String Theory Landscape

Which says that before there are multiple levels of 'vacuum'. Space is a pretty empty vacuuum, but still has energy in it. Before the universe, the level of vacuum was very high. In this state, strings could spontaneouly appear by lowering the energy of the vacuum around them. This way, they made the universe. Scientists have calculated that this could have happened in 10^500 ways.

Ekpyrotic Universe

Some scientists believe our universe formed from a collision of two branes. A brane is basically a dimension of space. According to the M-theory, there are 10 dimensions of space and 1 dimension of time. So when one dimension collides with another, a universe forms.

We need to accept not knowing things. Making explanations for things with no evidence for them doesn't help us in any way. That's basically what religion does. Invent explanations for why the world is as it is (and thousands of silly rules for us to obey), it may seem comforting to some, but it doesn't make it true.

Ideas on how the universe could've come into existence are interesting, but there's no point in getting annoyed if an idea doesn't work or try to invent hundreds of amendments and ad hoc solutions to it.
