Yeah, you rarely double post out of Everything Else, but you commonly triple post, quadruple post, quintuple post, and you sometimes sextuple post, septuple post, octuple post, or even more posts in a row.

Inb4 I do that because I update my stuff (ie; texture thread teasers) and reserve posts for future use.

Four points:
-editing posts work
-a post has like 20,000 or 200,000 characters, so no need to reserve a post for 2 lines.
-if you need to bump a thread multiple times, usually, people aren't interested.
-if you're going to bump a thread, delete if after someone posts.

I agree with these points.

It's too bad it wasn't a word count, instead of a post count, that would be harder to inflate (if quotes didn't count).

I should add... that they are just words. I don't have a problem with them. But given that this forum is visited by people of all ages from all over the world (and educational institutions), we need to keep the forums "family friendly."

Words are words. It's silly that some people make such a big deal about them, such that I feel the need to say anything at all.
