I'm not "homophobic". My nephew is gay which doesn't prevent me from hugging him or treating him any different than before I knew he was gay. I have had two gay bosses and them being gay did not affect how I worked with them.
Quite simply...adding "phobic" to a term is strictly for the purpose of a fallacious argument. An illogical and weak attempt to discredit another person's view as if the view just has to be a phobia for anyone to hold it. Or as others have stated:
