Cute story brohttp://www.pcgamer.com/2012/08/21/minecraft-experiment-devolves-into-devastating-resource-war/
http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Potions#Planned_potionsLol, they added invisibility potions. Unless they make it only available for SSP, I can see MASSIVE griefing potential there.

If the only defense a server has against griefing is the griefer being caught in the act, it is doomed already if it doesn't have a tightly tied, trustable community.
the invisibility effect could be broken if the player performs an aggressive action, other games do this to promote invisibility as a stealth ability rather than an offensive one.

Getting tickled with sharp objects by invisible entities is not fun. Having no way to defend yourself from other people isn't fun.
Cool. The potatoes will be ours.
Gold is somewhat rare
Potatoes can be farmed and also, I won't spam night vision potions. Also, it'd be great if you could chang the "potato" to "hell potato".
well, but this is minecraft, and the potion is expensive. If you dont wanna a griefed house, fill it with hostile mobs, when a invisible player touchs a hostile mob him gotta attacked
