Rings are bugged

 So I was trying to add an asteroid belt to my system but when I pressed "Add Ring" instead of adding a ring it acted more like the pulse power and shot the rings out, this happened again when I tried adding rings to a planet.

No, timestep was at 1 hour a second, I put lower but nothing happened (as in the rings didn't appear).

how close were they to the object, and did you slow time down before or after the particles went flying away?

Though unless the asteroid belt was very close to the star it shouldn't have done that....

First I tried to but the rings 2000 radi away (also, I have no idea how much 1 radius is), and again, I have no idea where the rings popped up because when the simulation was slowed down nothing happened and no rings appeared.

It's alright, I reloaded the game this morning, seems to work now, but then there was another glitch where stars wouldn't glow but again, a reload fixed it.
