When I compare some of my favorite snacks, meals, and other stuff to the ones made in everywhere I've been to in MA, there can be some pretty disappointing results. Take a look at this:

1. Fruit Rollups: Tastes like if baloney was fruit flavored dipped in sugar
2. Kit Kat: The wafer tastes like peanut shells, and the chocolate tastes like pain
3. Snickers: Decent flavor, but way too many peanuts and one bite will make you feel twice as thirsty as you already are
4. Hot Dogs: They don't taste too different, maybe a little more burnt-plasticky flavor, but every once in a while I find this hard toenail clipping-shaped thing in the wiener
5. Watermelon: Not exactly a product, but every watermelon here is obviously frozen (the flesh is mushy and tastes like old ice)
6. Every other fruit.
7. McDonalds: One word: Salt. And shitty meat, of course, but it's still good.
8. Lays(chips): Salt is all it is.
9. White chocolate: It all tastes like the smell of wax
10. (Actually this one is from Italy) Fanta/Miranda Soda: Tastes like a rotting mandarin
11. Burger King: Not a very healthy taste in general, all the chicken is 43% plastic, 51% rubber, and 6% flavoring.
12. KFC: After 2 minutes exposure to the air, the fries taste like dirty soap/the oil that comes from teenager skin, and it is sometimes also true for the rest of the meal.
That's all I can think of for now.

no but you happen to live in a desolate part of the planet unsuitable for sustaining large populations

-snip-
6. Every other fruit.
-snip-
What about dates, figs, olives, pomegranates and limes?
I meant imported fruits >.<

Chupa Chups: Way to sugary
Hershey's Chocolate Kisses (the small kind for cooking (cookies, muffins, etc.)): After exposure to air it tastes... Strange
Lemonade: Has hints of the seeds. Also very sugary.
Doritios: Forget that. they taste ~the same.
Ketchup: Acidic and prone to separation.
Mayonnaise: I just can't. I don't even want to think about it. Alright, it roughly tastes like a diseased clam threw up.
Books: Illustration=Garbage
Story= 75% of the time it's no better than the Illustration. Also the printing usually has some errors (missing pages, strange coloration, etc.)
Toys: Can we skip this please?
Brand Naming: I've seen a toy store called "Perfumes and Sweets", and chips called "Mr. Patatas" (Patatas means potatoe in Arabic)

I really don't think half the stuff you complained about should be any different... especially all the fast food and processed junk food and candy
