Learning to breathe, minus oxygen (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wvYHP2WzJwk#)

Approve? it is cool.

In Soviet Russia, argon breathe you!

In all seriousness, this is an insanely stupid idea.

1. Of course Argon isn't toxic, it's a freaking noble gas!
2. If these people think humans can breathe pure argon, then they have no business getting anywhere near a space program.
3. Getting air from Mars is tricky, since the atmosphere is about 1% as dense as Earth's.
4. Mars's atmosphere has significantly more nitrogen than argon.

It sounded more like they planed to use it as an additive in place of nitrogen
to add to the oxygen, but that doesn't make much sense to me, I dont see
any reason to switch from nitrogen. As you said, Omnigeek6, Mars has more
nitrogen anyway. And with Argon being a noble gas, I doubt it would stabilize
the oxygen anyway as argon wont normally bond to it...
