I only have sunflowers, not a beautiful garden with a variety like yours.
But here's a picture of a sunflower, some of the leaves are broken.

Are you sure thats a sunflower? That doesn't look like one to me.

Hmmm, maybe yours is a young one that isn't brown in the center yet, or it's a different type of sunflower.

Yeah, it's a small sunflower, and it's different. I have never seen any sunflowers in our yard have a brown center, ever.
Or is it really a sunflower...hmm...
