The way I did that was by putting a dwarf star as close as possible to the star and then spamming earth-sized planets at about the same distance.

I started a game and put a dwarf star smack dab as close to the central star as possible. The planet I started with has a kinda weird orbit now. Half of its orbit is in the habitable zone while the other half is outside it.
It freezes. Then it unfreezes. Weird.

7,191,135 over 26.8 years. Working to get it much higher.
Edit: 13,847,458 over 51.9 years.

I wonder that as well. This as nothing to do with Universe Sandbox.

It was moved from Everything Else to Universe Sandbox Discussion by Dan. Not locked, per say.

That's fast.

Name is super planet crash....
Planets go thru each other, most templates don't allow planets to go farther than the asteroid belt before collapsing the universe. What a terrible rule.

I know.
A dwarf star (that is listed as a planet) couldn't orbit within 2 AU within making the space between the stars a planetary danger zone.
Also pretty sure that the highest scorers cheated somehow.
-
Yes, if they're gonna make it this bad, they should different class stars and infinite orbit range. 2 AU limit, my ass!
-
if you want it that bad code your own
-
I don't know how to make a gravity engine....
It's inappropriately named, what can I say?
-
gravity is a pretty simple starting project, provided you know how to code
-
and if you don't you can just learn! coding is very useful
-
I don't have the time, and anyway I can just do it in Universe Sandbox instead. It's tons more realistic and interactive.
-
that's a pretty weird app.

What is?
