Kollektive Konlang Reboot?

This time with a better knowledge of sounds? Obviously questions can be asked if you are confused as to this or other charts. (there are also wikipedia articles)

Why are we doing/should we do this? I ask you, why not?

How would we do it?
The first step would be to set up the phonology and orthography. To do that we would need to know if we are making a naturalistic or more idealistic/logical language. Of course we could have some form of both, being logical but also natural.

phonology - the sounds/phenomes that actually are the minimum units for the word, this will be done in IPA
orthography - From Wikipedia, "a standardized system for using a particular writing system (script) to write a particular language," or otherwise how the sounds are represented within the language, like vision's [ʒ] is represented as 'si'.

Conventions:
To avoid confusion, all IPA sounds/pronunciations will be surrounded by brackets []
Orthographic symbols in the language will be shown, when pointed out in a sentence inside of single or double quotes '' or "" or when the whole sentence is known to be in the language as an example or such, no quotes will be needed.

Primary word order
I think we should do something more 'normal', but it would be cool to use TWO basics word orders (I vote for SVO and OSV).
I like of something.>> SVO (Subject Verb Object)
Of something I like. >> OSV (Object Subject Verb)

woah calm down there there is no mention of primary word order in the topic yet. We need to construct the language in a logical order and we all need to be on the same step.

no bong languages evolved with groups of thousands or millions of people over time, spreading apart, forming new ones. english used to be the same thing as german about 2000 years ago.
