Apologies - to All You Guys.
Really.
Unfortunately - for me - I only Play Games if I can really "get into" them - that is, sort of believe in it as an Alternative Reality, at least whilst playing it.
Trouble is - being Retired, and spending all of my free time on the P.C. - these Games sort of take over my life, and I start to "live" them.
Then when you have spent like 200 Hours, 2 Months, building up your Cities or whatever - someone Declares War on you, and starts smashing them up, or stealing them.
VERY disheartening !!
Then - you work hard to build up your Alliance, Recruit Players, form Treaties with other Alliances try to make your Alliance and yourself "safe" in the Alternative World.
Suddenly - People leave, join another Alliance - become your Enemies, Attack you.
Or - Other Alliances break Treaties, start Attacking you, or other Players in your Alliance.
Just me -
The REAL WORLD is not a Fair Place - that is bad enough.
But WHY would I want to devote a lot of time and effort to an Alternative World, which is even MORE UNFAIR.
Eventually - I have to leave these Games - it all gets too much for me.
Because I CARE - about my own position - about others, Friends in the same Alliance.
If I did not Care - why would I even bother to Play these Games - War and Destruction are NOT Fun for me.
Working for a long time, to have it all smashed up - is NOT Fun for me.
So - Have your FUN, Good People.
I will just have to avoid them like the Plague.
