A new cyclone has formed in the Australian region. The first since October, Anggrek. The cyclone has been named Tasha. It seems to be located in a favorable environment with warm water and extremely low shear. Tasha is located about 100 miles off the Queensland coast. Tasha is expected to make landfall in about 6 to 12 hours. If you live anywhere along the Queensland coast from Cooktown to Quail Island, please use any advice from local authorities.
