A black hole is just a large mass with a radius small enough that the escape velocity at the surface is equal to the speed of light.

So you can make Jupiter a black hold by hovering your mouse over it and pressing Ctrl-W (key combo subject to change in a future release). This reduced its radius to make the escape velocity = the speed of light.

Although in reality I don't think that a black hole of this size would be stable, but then again I'm not a rocket scientist. :)

What you probably want to do is make Jupiter's mass much larger. Right click on Jupiter and change it's mass under Jupiter Properties.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Good question... Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but bodies don't typically spiral down because of gravity.

Open up 'Saturn & its Moons'  then increase the mass of Saturn to around 1 Jupiter. The rings will appear to 'spiral' into the planet but what doesn't crash will assume stable elliptical (oval) orbits.

You could get a spiral if the rings or moons experienced some sort of drag where they continually lost a very small fraction of their velocity as they orbited the planet, star, or black hole.

I may add this feature (ability to add some kind of drag to a system) in a future release.

Does that answer your question? I'm sorry I don't have a more immediately satisfying answer.
