Well it's an oceanic plate and stretches from beneath Ohio to the Juan de Fuca plate. Infact it is the Juan de Fuca plate and the Cocos plate.

There's no plate stretching from Ohio to the Juan de Fuca Plate. If there was a fault between these places then the North American Plate would be split in half.
