I'm a hobbyist science fiction writer and I was interested in whether or not two possible features were included.
1. Planetary biographies? Or some kind of journal like that to store information?
2. Gravity sim disable? So the planets are locked in their orbits and won't fly out. Just like a kind of stellar map. That's really what I'm interested in.
Also, the saves are accurate in this right? I had trouble with version two where the saves always rammed all my planets into their respective stars and moons into planets and I couldn't figure out if it was gravity, or if the save was rounding the measurements of distance once I got too far from Sol. Sometimes it acted like both but I was adding in multiple star systems and had even placed one thousands of Lys from Sol. At the same time I was dealing with extreme gravity with one system, but in others I wasn't and was placing moons within the roche limit but they rammed the jovian planet anyway which them rammed into the star. This happens on saving and reloading if I haven't made that clear. It's fine when I save, but when I reload it's always inside it's parent body or closer. I experimented around but I never figured it out.
Oh. I also think I had calculation problems with some of the orbits as either the Earth years or AUs were rounded. Around red dwarf stars this became troublesome. I can't remember exactly which, if not both, it was. It was a while ago, but my manual calculations beat the computer on that one. I had another program overshoot the exact number of days the planet orbited as this one undershot it. If my memory is not fuzzy.
Will these issues be fixed?
Thanks.
