Begun and held at the Capital City of Lizabechai on Sunday, the twentieth, two thousand and twelve,
Joint Resolution
To authorize the use of Bielosian Armed Forces against those responsible for the recent attacks launched against Equestria.
Whereas, on May 19, 2012 acts of treacherous violence were committed against Equestria and its citizens; and
Whereas, such acts render it both necessary and appropriate that Bielosia exercise its rights to honor her defense treaty and to protect Equestrian and Bielosian citizens both at home and abroad; and
Whereas, in light of the threat to the national security and foreign policy of the Bielosia posed by these grave acts of violence; and
Whereas, such acts continue to pose an unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security and foreign policy of Bielosia; and
Whereas, the President has authority under the Constitution to take action to deter and prevent acts of international terrorism against the Equestria: Now, therefore, be it
Resolved by the Military Council and the Imperial Representatives of Bielosia in Congress assembled,
hereby declaring war on the Socialist Union of Aeridani.
