L1 is inside, on the edge of earths hill sphere. It will slow an object down.

L2 is outside, also on the edge of Earths Hill sphere. It will speed and object up to Earth's speed.

L3 is on the oposite side of where earth is. It is basically the same orbit, but rotates 180 degress

L4 is leading 60 degrees

L5 is trailing 60 degrees
