kol, well i based it on the population density of germany. i guess i could reduce it by 4 times, so 1 pixel - 5km instead of 10.

No need to use NationStates data imo. We already made a doc where we wrote our own pops for our countries and classified our cities.

hmeh. i do like everyone's hugenormously unrealistic population though. why don't we just let everyone decide on their own, and i'll down scale my map so it doesn't take up ~100 gigapixels. And the same for technology.

Besides, my map was 8km to 1 pixel so we need that scale anyways.

We should decide a scale on the entire map and agree on it (or vote) instead of making 15 different scales for each of our small maps.

I'd say we should aim at a map size similar to Earth and a population similar to Earth instead of using ridiculous NS stats. We could use the document with the cities and nation populations I think Darvince made.
