The fate of the universe!

Here is a screenshot of what I think will be the fate of the universe. Since Red dwarfs become white dwarfs very slowly and eventually all the stars will die out and Black holes take a VERY long time to die.

Actually, Black holes never die. They continue to grow infinitely. Eventually (And I mean 9999999999999999999999999999999 years eventually) the universe will be one giant black hole, and that's if the Universe hasn't already collapsed by then.

A black hole requires a source of mass to grow, which it attracts inside its event horizon. They can only grow infinitely if they always have a massive source of mass to grow from (which would then have to be infinite).

Black holes are also predicted to emit Hawking radiation, so if they don't have an infinite source of mass to drain from forever, they will eventually evaporate. Small black holes will evaporate faster, while massive black holes in the center of many galaxies will evaporate extremely slowly.

The universe is also expanding at an accelerating rate, and if that continues, eventually clusters of galaxies, galaxies, black holes etc. will all become isolated from each other.

aren't the clusters of galaxies, and then the individual galaxies, and then the star clusters inside the galaxy eventually going to expand and spread out. Eventually the solar system will be torn apart and then the earth and atoms and everything shall be torn apart muahaahhaahahhaha......

Won't Earth get swallowed by the Sun as a Red Giant first?

probably, but we, meaning scientists, could be wrong/completely off with the estimates. Planets will be torn apart then

No, the fabric of the entire universe, "spacetime" will be ripped apart and molecules, atomics, sub-atomic particles will all come apart until there is nothing left. Dark energy accounts for this (not sure if it was matter or energy...i think it's energy).

I guess I should have elaborated. Take this image of IC 1101 for example.



There are alot more Galaxy's being influenced by IC 1101's gravitational pull. They will eventually become a part of IC 1011 and then eventually become engulfed by the Super Massive black hole at the centre of IC 1011.

Because Hawking Radiation deteriorates Black Holes at such a slow rate, I mean slow rate as in; all stars in the Universe are dead by now, there are no galaxy's but just Black Holes and because the Black Holes deteriorate so slowly they will still actually exist when the Universe ends. The time it will take for the Universe to eventually over-expand is shorter than the time it will take for a black hole (Depending on the black hole's size, relatively smaller ones will evaporate faster)) to evaporate. Time only exists in the Universe hence the Black holes lasting forever.

It's dark energy.  I just wasn't sure what you were referring to.

I just hope that if there's no heaven or 'multiverse', hopefully some race (human or not) is clever enough to figure out a way to survive the ultimate fate of the universe.
