So... My laptop appears to have died today

Yep. :(

So If I'm not on as much I'm saving all the stuff I can get, through safe mode and likely getting a new laptop. Unless, it's just being really really stubborn. It's done stuff similar but not this "bad" before and "gotten over it" after a day or two. We'll just have to see how it pans out.

I highly doubt it's a virus... Although.

And no, Macs suck, the only thing good about them is the way the windows look and the dock.

I'd get Linux but it doesn't run lots of stuff I use. I might use my laptop for Ubuntu after I get a new one.

Aw damn, I know that feeling. It's like losing a limb.
Next time, put everything on full lockdown, make restore CDs and possibly hoard stuff on the D:/ partition.  ;)
