I've been down to the south of England three times. Once to a nice little town around a castle called Corfe Castle, once to Torquay, I can't remember where exactly but near there, and once to a place called Welwyn Garden City, from where we could catch trains to and from London.
In the southeast of England, the sea water is really clear and tints very nicely towards blue or green. I was actually amazed by how crystalline it was because I've never seen such clear water in real life. I've grown up going to beaches like this:
Also in the south east is where I found those little Galena crystals in a stone.
