It's because this is a law in Texas:
"The Texas Constitution
Article 1 - BILL OF RIGHTS
Section 4 - RELIGIOUS TESTS
No religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office, or public trust, in this State; nor shall any one be excluded from holding office on account of his religious sentiments, provided he acknowledge the existence of a Supreme Being."

Isn't that a contradiction onto itself? Acknowledging the existence of a supreme being is still a 'religious test'. Although they could easily just believe in the Flying Sphagetti Monster as the supreme being, or even just casually (or sarcastically) saying yea sure there is a god without actually believing in one, lol. It also goes against the US constitution I think.

I think Ron Paul should be on there for his completely ignorant (and outdated, READ HISTORY PEOPLE! Isolationism didn't and does NOT work) foriegn policy. While he has a couple of good thoughts such as focusing more domestically, his foriegn policy pretty much nixes that. I'm not sure why he is so popular when his foriegn policy is completely idiotic.

Not sure if it has something to do with him being from Texas or not, but most of the other candidates (including Perry I believe) have attacked his foriegn policy.

Now this one makes a lot more sense, kol, I hadn't seen the original ad before I watched it.
Really Really STRONG (Really)

Also this seems to be the official video. I like how it has 24,620 likes, but 728,377 dislikes - 30 times as many.
Strong

And here's a post dealing with the exact ad:

Quote from: Atheist Revolution
This has already been dissected countless times, and my take is quite simple. First, that a Christian would be ashamed to be a part of the majority religion does not make much sense. Second, what do gays in the military have to do with public schools. Third, our children can and do celebrate Christmas and pray in school (they just aren't led in prayer by school officials). And finally, demanding accurate history is hardly the same as attacking anyone's religious heritage, unless of course, this heritage has been made up and does not reflect actual history.
