NASA Simulation - World Wind
« on: July 22, 2009, 09:48:27 PM »
World Wind is a realistic simulation about the Earth. You can zoom in, watch hurricanes move,  look at the Grand Canyon. You can also change the time of Earth (December: Ice at poles, July: Little Ice at Poles)

The Earth, The Sahara Desert is the center.

The Moon in Hypsometric Map layer, possibly the blue, purple are ocean and green, yellow, orange and, red are land.

Th clouds wont move cause, they don't know the cloud movement in the future.

Go to "Scientific Visualization Studio"
Go to "Oceans"
Go to any Hurricane.
It takes time to load the images, like the fire on Africa in 2002, 365 days!

Mine was Katrina Hurricane, it formed when two small hurricane collided. The Katrina went to the Carribian Sea ( damaging Cuba, Florida, Lousiana, Georgia, Mississipi, Alabama} Then went to Gulf of Mexico, and went to East-Southern United States...
