Word game (maths somewhat)

You have to take letters, and make it into something like this:
f(a+f)=af(f-g)
The next post then has to take out or add one, or change one letters.
ex:
f(a+i)=l
fa=l
ft=(l)
ft=(l+g)

Since you're failing didn't give us anything to start with:

r - q(ba) = b - n(q + x)
