Not sure I really want to play because as soon as the beginners protection wears off, they're likely to mob me.

At this point, you're basically either in a strong alliance or a farm, the game even ENCOURAGES farming other people.

Btw, Hellpotatoe, if you actually try to stop the attacks, they'll realize you mean business and don't want to be farmed, and most people will stop. The others you just have to treat nice and make huge troop numbers and defeat them. I want you back on com9 so we can build a huge army, get it all in one city, and finally defeat those motherfuckers aragh.sagi and kolake.

Meaning that it would take many hours for them to reach me? hmkay....

Should I make it my capital or just build residence? I built a residence although I was upgrading the cranny to max just in case.

I've grabbed some wild animal reinforcements which will certainly help.

Edit: Building crannies to deny them the loot will also help.
