Measure distance between two objects?

Is there a way to do this in Universe Sandbox?  For example, if I wanted to make two stars 25 light years apart from each other, could I do it?

you can use the coordinate system (is it relative? not sure..)

If you place an object at 1.00 lightyears and another at -1.00 then you could find the distance as to 2.00 ly.

No easy way to measure distances in the current release. I hope to address this problem in a future update.

If you right click on a body it will show you the distance from its 'parent' object and from your current position.

So if I were to go into the "Star position in galaxy" simulation, focus on the sun, then right click on Rigel it would give me the distance from the Sun to Rigel?

It will show you whatever its calculated parent is (which is the object exerting the most acceleration on the body).

Which is Rigel, if I remember correctly.

That's the one feature that i personally miss the most in the current version.
