Jinx - Can Anyone Convert This - To look a BIT more Realistic ?
« on: September 21, 2011, 08:23:39 AM »
This is the Planet "Jinx" - in my "Krissyverse".

This Planet is a PROLATE Spheroid - like a Rugby Ball, 1.2 times High as Diameter.

No idea at all HOW it got this way - but it is rotating normally on its Long Axis.

Of course - it is NOT geologically stable - it is slowly changing.

There is an Equatorial Sea, with a very active Mid-Oceanic Ridge on the Equator, with visible Volcanic Islands.

Plate Tectonics is slowly spreading the Deep Equatorial Ocean under the Northern and Southern Continents - which may soon show signs of Mountain Building, and Volcanic Action.

There are Northern and Southern Continents - with Tropical Forests, then Temperate Forests, then Grasslands, then Tundra, and finally lots of ice.  The Polar Ice Caps actually stick OUT of the Atmosphere at the actual Poles.
I am absolutely Rubbish at Graphics - but here is a Texture Map.

I tried making four islands and made the sea around them a bit more noisy. Nothing impressive yet. Idk if I'll do more, or if it's helping at all. :P
I recommend saving it as PNG, otherwise you'll lose data when you save (the texture will look noisy).
