i've added ctam harmonic oscillator
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1A5wNsMn2ytn7zjD3q73UWb8FpbiuGRRSFDpaY-x9Ap0/edit#gid=597747901long story short, suppose you had a pendulum (or a weight attached to a spring, or literally any other harmonic oscillator).
now imagine you applied external force onto the system
now imagine the amount of force was determined by how many posts are made on ctam each day
now imagine the force is applied rhythmically, in both directions, with a certain period
now imagine the period of the rhythm is different from the natural resonance frequency of the oscillator
in effect, during times of strong activity, you would expect the position of the oscillator (the phase) to be strongly determined by the external force, and that the frequency of oscillation should follow the external frequency
in times of quiet or little activity, you would expect the oscillator to return to it's natural frequency, with the phase of the oscillation remaining to what it was last fixed to (by external forces)
tl;dr im the best
