I got hit by an angular momentum vector in the lab today.
Someone else held a bike wheel facing me, then promptly gave it an angular acceleration in the clockwise direction seen from his side, so the angular momentum vector grew out of the rotation axis and poked my nostrils.
Oww.
In revenge and anger, I promptly applied a friction force to the rim of the tyre, making a sharp, pointy torque vector hit him right in his left eye. Hopefully people will think twice before trying to attack me with angular momentum vectors next time!
